From February 11 to March 8, BIS ART GALLERY will host the ART SHUFFLE 29.0, which has become a traditional event for the gallery. This time, the exhibition brings together both new works by resident artists and pieces from the gallery’s collection, showcasing diverse approaches within the metamodern movement.

The exhibition opens with the delicate work «Danae» by Maya Ramishvili from the gallery’s collection, characterized by soft lines and a lyrical mood. Engaging in a dialogue with it are the vibrant and rich still lifes by Amur Kochishvili and Nodar Khokhobashvili. While Kochishvili impresses with his smooth, detailed painting, Khokhobashvili stands out with unconventional formats and techniques, presenting two floral still lifes painted on wood.

Abstract art holds a special place in the exhibition. Tengiz Mikoyants presents a bright geometric abstraction with pure colors, conveying the artist’s impressions. At the same time, Polina Zarembа immerses the viewer in a deep abstraction with golden hues, creating a sense of movement and light. Her work is complemented by a small analytical study by Evgeny Zarembа, where a finely tuned color palette evokes a feeling of harmony and balance.

Particular attention is deserved by the expressive semi-abstract sculpture by Darya Semenova, accompanied by a painting, forming an intriguing dialogue between the two art forms. This duo highlights the artist’s versatility in work with different materials and forms.

Young artists are also featured in the exhibition. SteP.G showcases a new painting on a chinese theme, continuing his work with digital art. Alexandra Khalipskaya and Korolkoshek present diptychs, each exploring themes of duality of human nature in their own way. Special interest is drawn to a long-unexhibited work by Alexandra Efimova, making a return to the gallery space and the new artwork by VANGRANDA.

Artists from the NEXT project — SFKNG, Anna Konopleva, and OQ6ANA — present works that differ in character but are united by a common energy. Anna Konopleva's bright, ironic piece contrasts with OQ6ANA's new monochrome graphics, creating an intriguing visual contrast. The large-scale work by SFKNG, inspired by Russian folklore, concludes the exhibition, reminding us of the importance of cultural roots in contemporary art.

We invite you to become part of this dialogue and discover new works by the resident artists of our gallery.
